Description: Learn more about new Hypha development

  • Implementing default notifications via email

  • github issue Make the default notification for all user roles be e-mail · Issue #2882 · HyphaApp/hypha · GitHub

  • When implemented this solution would ensure organizations could receive notifications without third party messaging apps like slack, signal, etc.

  • The next phase of implementation could potentially include email digests, timed emails that are not sent in real time, and give users more options to select their preferences. To determine user base preferences we would need to determine a standard list of categories.

  • Refactoring to add messaging app (ie Zulip integration)

  • WagTail 3 update + WagTail CMS

  • changed color, but not much has changed

AL provided an overview of technical doc, and their process for onboarding new developers

Description: New designs, wireframes, work in progress to share

  • Draft user journey - we discussed how they’re created, when they’re stored, and some ideas to troubleshoot glitches. Proposed solution is to provide applicants with more information about their drafts, documentation, and an interface to track drafts as a global setting

  • WagTail Admin Settings - a few folks will meet up next week to discuss settings
